Each entry below records this archive's own status field moving. None of them is a publisher moving a document's status between two of this record's readings.

Fifty-four of the fifty-five move out of unknown, which is this archive's word for a status nobody here had read yet — no publisher publishes it. The fifty-fifth moves the other way, this record withdrawing a value. So an entry here records a reading being made, not a document being changed.

Beside each, what the publisher's own status passage showed on the readings either side of the date, quoted as written and read through the signal declared for that source. Tested that way, no entry has the publisher stating one value before and another after.

This is a different proof from the one used for a change to a document's TEXT, which is on the log. A status is something a publisher says about a document; a digest is a fact about the document's own bytes. Neither proof is applied to the other's referent, and the counts on the two pages do not add. A third referent exists: where a series reads the publisher's page ABOUT a document, a change there is listed on the witness page under that page's own address.
