The confirm gate

Ruled on 12 September 2026: where the evidence is complete and independently witnessed, analysis reaches the verdict and it is recorded as confirmed by analysis. A person’s press upgrades that reading to a person’s confirmation; it does not stand in front of it. A machine verdict is never shown or counted as a person’s. Everything else stays undetermined, with the evidence that is missing named on the candidate’s own page.

The rule that assigns a class

Mechanical, and reproducible from the two retained texts alone. Both texts are read as this record hashed them: markup tags removed, entities resolved, whitespace runs collapsed to one space. Each is split on spaces into tokens. The common leading and trailing tokens are trimmed, the longest common subsequence of what is left is taken — walking from the front, advancing the earlier side when the two continuations are the same length — and each maximal run of unaligned tokens is one span.
